Photo by R.R. Best In order to deal with a scheduled Ameren power outage, Lovington schools scheduled fun, outdoor educational activities. The scheduled events included bike safety and activities hosted by Sue Yarnell, who is the ag in the classroom coordinator. At right, Karen Smith-Cox, Lovington school librarian, reads to children as part of the power outage activities last Friday.
